Yeah I agree with that last line, she wins purely on the fact that her competition isn't well... all that good in the grand scheme of things. If it would be more competitive I would definitely wish she could pull off a move or two to pad up the resume.
I hope I can be proven wrong but I don't Michelle did any of what you said purposely/intentionally. Or maybe she did slightly but lots of it was also just coincidental/right place-right time kind of thing. Not sure she knew us well enough to intentionally position herself around key people.
It's hard to say if she did or didn't intentionally. That part will come out in her final pitch. It definitely felt like, to me, it was like pulling teeth talking game with her but not because it was HARD to talk game with her (when we did talk game it was quick, simple and easy) but she was difficult to get more from than I'd give to her. I always felt at an information deficit with her because I'd be like "so have you heard what's going down?" and she'd go "maybe? what did you hear?" and it was always that kind of stuff with her. She positioned herself well to direct that game and never rock the boat too much where she popped up as too appetizing of a threat too soon. We lost, what? 5 male players in a row and I look now and go "huh, 4:1 for the ladies right now" and there's a part of me that wonders if all us men were just allowed to shoot because of our egos while the ladies sat back and let us bury ourselves. It sure looks that way right now but, like you highlighted, whether that was intentional or not remains to be seen.
I mean, not sure what happened between you and Paul, maybe your ego did get in the way and you shot the shot too early LOL but Rodney and Naseer were collateral damage to the game and I went out because I was public enemy number one. So I don't think it really was much of a ding-a-ling measuring contest between the boys as everyone else watched LOL
I didn't get that feeling from her but also the dynamics were different between our relationships with her. I will admit that she does a good job covering her steps as she was the first one to talk to me about what happened after the Morgan vote, whether that was intentional jury management because she knew I was a dead man walking or just her genuinely being nice is something I guess we'll have to see if she makes FTC haha
All I'm saying is 5 guys in a row, gotta wonder and consider all angles. For the Paul vote, I wish it was ego but it was more...compassion? - Steph played the fuck out of me and got me to do it. I was locked and loaded to not start shooting at Paul/Michelle until f5. I felt GOOD about the decision knowing that, hey going into f5 with Steph/Hali gave us a 3-2 advantage and we should have a relatively easy time dusting up Sydney/Voce back-to-back. I even told Voce I wanted Sydney earlier in the day and Steph talked me into targeting Paul and Michelle early. Convinced me that we could still control majority of 4-3 by having her and Voce there instead of Paul/Michelle. I didn't like it because Michelle was a massive competition threat and if the blowback from booting Paul was fierce I was fucked. But Steph STILL got me to make the move. I mathed it out though and there's still a chance that even if we went with my original plan I'm likely still sitting here as Voce idols up at f6 feeling the heat off a Michelle immunity win, she has an idol for Paul and plays it there to protect him through to f5, then that just leaves Steph, Hali, and I myself and I think we can both be honest in who the most tempting target to shoot at out of that three would be.
