This is Paul's Final Tribal Council Thread.

All other Jurors should remain in their own threads.

Paul, you have until Saturday at 8c/9e AM to post your statements/questions to the Final 2. Remember not to take up too much of their time as they have 8 other jurors to get to. Please no listing or questions requiring novels for answers. You should post all of your statements/questions in your opening post in this thread.

Hey y’all! Better late than never. First of all congratulations to both of you! You both got here to the end and should be proud of that. That being said, every other thread has asked very detailed and hard hitting questions. Questions that are very informative for me to read your answers to. Almost everything I was curious about has been answered in one way or another.

So, with that being said, I’m going to make my question very simple and it’s the same for both of you.

But here’s some background: I came into this game prepared to backstab and lie and crawl my way to the end. I realized quickly that wasn’t the game I’m capable of playing. I ended up pontificating about big moves but never saw them through. Whether I like it or not I’ll never be a “villain”.

So with all of this in mind, here is my question to both of you: You have to choose one, are you a hero, or a villain?

Ahhhh. From the outside watching this game, I would appear a villain. I echo your sentiments tho, and I have to admit that although I thought I would make a good villain, I actually didn't enjoy this season as much as the last because of some of the moves I had to make.

Rodney was under the impression that he wasn't going home that night, and with all of his pleading there at end, I felt bad for him leaving.

Your vote out Paul should have felt horrible because it was a complete blindside that only 4 people knew about.  The only reason it didn't feel quite that bad was because I had heard you wanted to come for me at the next tribal council. Your comment after the vote was exactly the way I felt though too.  I was at the point where if I was ever sent home, it wouldn't be the end of the world.  That honestly might have played a small roll in why I played my idol for Sydney instead of myself also, because there was a chance I was going home if I did. Like I said at the time, I wouldn't have regretted it, and honestly sometimes wish it would have happened because of one of the votes that happened later.

Hali's vote also should have been totally fine for me because she voted/blindsided me too at the last tribal council.  Even with her though I actually didn't feel good about voting her out ( maybe there is something wrong with me, that should have been easy ).

Then to the worst one. Michelle. I really really hate the way I handled this one. I in all honesty would rather have been voted out earlier than to have to go through this vote. It was by far my biggest regret in the game.  1. I should just not have made any sort of final 3 pact with her and 2. I should have just been 100% completely honest with her when I knew I couldn't honor it.

I did learn a few things from this season, from the mistakes I made. I would never make stupid promises that can't be kept if I was to ever play again.

Sorry for the long answer but, to answer your question, I never set out to be the villain this season, but that's what I would appear to people watching. I would have to say I can't say I'm a hero either, even though I had 1 hero moment ( playing the idol for Sydney instead of myself ) . So sadly I'm a villain.

Hey Paul!

Hey, y’all! Better late than never. First of all congratulations to both of you! You both got here to the end and should be proud of that. That being said, every other thread has asked very detailed and hard-hitting questions.

I’ll keep it short and sweet for you.

Considering everything that I had done in this game, I’d say I’m a villain. I’ve lied numerous times, called people out, put targets on people, I created drama, and I was extremely cutthroat. I had no problem lying to someone’s face and getting blood on my hands. Even when the target on my back was getting bigger and bigger, I never once played it safe. There were even a few players here who were scared of me because of the stuff I did last season.

And if it counts, my confessionals definitely gave more villain than hero.

Thinking back to last season, I made someone cry (Love you, Jess <3). I’ve been outright called evil and psychotic. Would a hero do this? LOL.
