I've decided that for long as I'm in this game (which won't be much longer probably) I should pay tribute to the players that fall before me. It's a great cast and I want them to feel seen. First up...
Carolyn
Here's a clip from the movie Ghost - because you were a ghost in this game. If anyone wants to cozy up behind me and be my Swayze, I'm here. But I don't think Carolyn and I will ever have a chance to get this close:teary:

Next up...
Morgan
We started to bond over her love of Pilates and I looked into Pilates because of her, saw the machine they use for it, and then remarked how it looked like a torture device so this felt fitting. I'm still serious that I want to try Pilates now because of her.
Much like the person in this video, Morgan's game got folded in half and fucked up right quick. She was so nice and I'm bummed she's gone. But she had to die as part of the chaos that I stirred up unnecessarily (but it was super necessary because what a glorious, right clusterfuck it made).

Well after tonight it only feelings fitting to talk about...
Naseer
Lots of love to Naseer but I feel like a flaming Dairy Queen perfectly describes the night you died in this game. Burning building, all that lost ice cream, and sad children everywhere within a 50 km radius. Gone way too soon and just an unfortunate casualty in a weird ass war where I don't know what side I'm on.

Dear Mike,
We at Dom Jam Records have made a few attempts now to contact you regarding the position of content curator at our storied enterprise.
However, silly us, we didn't realize you are on TV right now! Your content porfolio was impressive enough that we are pleased to announce we are holding the position open until we can discuss further after you are done with your pesky tv appearance.
Best wishes,
Dom

Dear Dom,
Thank you for reaching out with this offer. I've looked up and admired the work of Dom Jam Records for quite some time. I enthusiastically accept your offer for the position of content curator as I've been looking to change careers paths once my current obligations have wrapped up! Handling content curation at an enterprise like Dom Jam is a a position I am confident I can excel in and I look forward to working with you in the future! Following my current obligations, my people will be in contact with your people to discuss desired salary, benefits, and vacation time. I hope all is well with you and I look forward to discussing this venture further in the near future!
Warmest regards,
Mike "The Otter"

Tonight...
James
While my posts have been mostly comedic in this thread - James is hard to do. I've got a tremendous amount of respect for him (not to say I don't respect the other eliminated members of the cast) and I feel like I got to know him more during this 6 day stretch than I had in the last six months in the server. When they announced Season 41 was a returnee season for 40, I knew he'd be back and be someone that I'd either go to war for or against. We would never just be neutral with each other. I learned so much from watching him play. He is an INCREDIBLE player and if I can even capture 2% of what he brings to this game in how I play I will come away a much better ORG-er. So with all that said, no jokes, no tricks...just a video about insect pinning because our conversation about it was truly enlightening to me and broadened my perspective on the topic a lot. I understand it more now and actually respect it as a hobby, which isn't something I could say before this game. I'm going to truly miss James in this game and I can't wait to go back to gaslighting him in the server...but I might not be able to do that anymore because the truth is my respect for the guy grew so profoundly that maybe it's his turner to be the gaslighter instead of the gaslightee...the way he played this game I'd say he damn well earned it.

Up next...
Rodney
I feel like this scene from Cars 2 kinda encapsulates the emotion of last night's vote, with Rodney placed in the role of Mater. It's a sad scene with Mater reflecting on moments where he was seen poorly or in an embarrassing light by his friends. I LOVED Rodney this time around but I started to cross check some things he was saying and the lines he was feeding everyone tripped him up. He ran out of fuel right before the finish line and it's a damn shame. He will be missed dearly by me.

TONIGHT! Part 1
Paul
It looks like the video isn't posting correctly but it's Handsome Devil By The Smiths. Not even a big Smiths fan. Don't hate 'em, don't love 'em...but I loved Paul. Amazing guy with a great heart. So to keep it short and sweet - cheers to the handsome devil himself. Game wouldn't have been the same without ya pal.

Up next...
Hali
I'm still convinced Hali is just one of the new Disney Princesses or some shit. She's so warm and kind and played an AMAZING game...and I'm not sure everyone else in the game realizes that yet. Was ready to die for her and if I could do it all again with her I'd play it the same way. Amazing person, amazing player, so happy to see her back.

I almost forgot to finish this out!
At 4th place...
Michelle
In honour of Michelle being in a perpetual state of being baked for most of the duration of this game, I'd like to post what I consider to be peak stoner humour - my favourite scene from "Dude, Where's My Car?". Michelle was frustrating to play with in the BEST way possible - I've lamented a few times now that she always got more from me than she gave back to me and I think that's a good core to build off of for a social player like Michelle. I left night 1 thinking that she was going to go all the way with the win and it looked like she really had it on lock for a minute there.

In third!
Sydney
I feel like paying tribute to Sydney is difficult. There's so much to say about her from how little I got to interact with her. But she was a boss bitch every time she rolled in. She'd show up, fumble the challenge, and then unceremoniously flip the script every. single. time. she was supposed to go fucking home. So here's a fight minute edit of women pretending to kick the shit out of you POV style because it kinda epitomizes how much of a fighter Sydney turned out to be.

Now for the last two.
VOCE!
In memory of Voce, here's a Troy Palomalu Head and Shoulder's commercial. He's a Steelers fan and if you know anything (good) about the Steelers, you've gotta talk about Troy Palomalu - which we bonded over! Voce is a great guy, the oldest player here and the only other dad in the game. I valued that time getting to talk with him and connect about that sort of stuff. I wish he would have come alive even earlier in the game and built a stronger connection with me because by the time he and I had really started clicking I was already locked in pretty tight with other players. Great guy, fun to play with. Nothing but respect to him for making it this far.

And hopefully, the winner of our season...
Stephanie
I was trying to just post the actual clip of whatever Kardashian this is cutting a cucumber but I guess Shorts don't post on the forum so here ya go. Steph sent this to me on one of our many 1AM chat nights (which seemed like every fucking night) and I hated it. So it's only fitting to end this list and season with it really. There's a lot to say about Steph and I - we were thick as thieves from the first message she sent to me - which was an Otter emoji. I knew IMMEDIATELY "I'm going to the end with this girl if I can pull it off". She's the one person I know I'll be friends with and still chat with on the regular after this game is done. Can't wait to catch up with her and (hopefully) celebrate a win for her. She's earned it in my books and I think her not winning would be a travesty for this season. Let's leave it there for now. I'm sure I could write a lot more but in the spirit of this thread, it feels right to keep it all short and sweet.
